I recently switched to Vodafone broadband being told I will get better gaming but I have nothing but issues from start.  Initial problems solved was working fine for two weeks now my 2 Xbox can't play multiplayer without lag . Voda tech support say I need to use Ethernet cable but I don't want cables running around house and never had issues with sky or bt previously. Why is this??

@Grumpydaddy Are you using IPv6, if so try turning it off in the router. Are both Xbox trying to connect on the same port number, then move the port up by one on one Xbox. Have you searched the forum because this has been asked about before.

The Vodafone hub hates multiple consoles with vengeance........

Got 3 Xbox's in my household..... And taken months to figure out a fix.

But here's the cure.

First turn everything off and wait a few minutes.

Turn hub on, wait till fully on. Turn first Xbox on wait till it connects. Make a note of it's I.P address and also change it's port and make a note of that.

Now access Hub settings and go to Ipv4 Port Mapping, insert details there allow TCP and UDP then save.

Repeat for second Xbox (make sure different port)

And all should be well.
