PPP dropping randomly throughout the day but not overnight.

in the event log the first error is

03/15/2024
13:56:23
ioctl command return error -1!
wan

repeated a few times, then I get
uci: Entry not found

Then it reconnects the ppp session -
03/15/2024
06:54:09
Write gracefulRestartPath = /etc/ppp/pppoesession_priotag_wan
wan
03/15/2024
06:54:09
Connected to 24:21:24:88:2a:43 via interface priotag_wan
wan
03/15/2024
06:53:59
Read gracefulRestartPath = /etc/ppp/pppoesession_priotag_wan
wan

This is occurring randomly but spaced apart at least 30 mins, from 6am to midnight. It's very strange. I've had fiber for a few years and its been solid as rock, and I've never had the fiber dropping before. The only issue I had before is the cat6 ethernet cable from router to ONT got twisted and would sync at 100mbit instead of 1000.

I think this is the main place to disable IPv6, so that your devices aren't given an IPv6 address.Jayach_0-1700771853436.png

yea I turned it off in there.

So its still disconnecting with all the IPv6 stuff turned off.

@jnaro One (or more) of your LAN connections have IPv6 turned on and are making requests. The "Link DOWN" bit is more interesting, can you get a bit more of the log and if possible format it as the way it's showing on the forum is using a lot of space, ta.

@jnaro Just seen the 2nd bit. If there's a vacant LAN port can you swap your cables around?

Yeah. Gonna switch to another port.

Switched LAN port on the router and switched to my other ethernet card on my PC.

@jnaro Change one thing at a time then test, otherwise you will not know for sure which adjustment made a difference.
