Third Party Router RAXE300

Hi,

I have full fibre from Voda delivered over Cityfibre.

I am trying to connect a Netgear RAXE300 router and although I can get the network working, I cannot get the internet.

I have plugged in the PPoE details, but I cannot enter the VLAN setting, 911.

Has anyone succeeded in doing this?

[FYI yes, I am trying the Netgear chatgroup too, but so far to no avail.]

Regards

Adrian

From what I remember reading before this router doesn't support VLAN on the WAN port.

Three fixes are suggested. You could use the router as an AP behind the vodafone router, connect through a managed switch that does support VLAN, or get another router.

Blunt I know, but there it is.

I bought this to be a super-sexy replacement solution, so I don't want the clutter of the Voda router and/or a switch. So, I am reduced to getting another router. The problem now is finding one that can do VLAN on the WAN port. Manufacturers don't advertise that. Do you happen to know of good one that delivers Wifi 6 or 6e?

Right now I can only recommend Asus GT-AX6000 or RT-AX88U Pro (if the price is right). A few members here use asus routers including myself.
