Hi all, switched from Virgin to VF full fibre 910. Their equipment arrived today and should go live in 4 days. But looking into the equip, from my wall comes a coaxial cable and the Vodafone router is DSL. Will an engineer install an adapter or new wall box for it? Email says an engineer is book on the day but I thought it was just the case of unplug virgin and plug Vodafone. Clearly it isn't.

No, your Virgin is using cable, so either CityFibe or Openreach will need to run a fibre to your premises and install an ONT.

Although the Router has a DSL connection, you won't be using that, you will use the WAN ethernet connection.
