Vodafone H 500-S router and setting SSID's the same for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz -Not allowed?

Hi, we have just installed a new H 500-s router (after relocating premises). I wanted to make both the 2.4ghz ang 5ghz Wi-Fi SSID's the same, but it appears that the H 500-s doesn't allow that? After entering an SSID for the 2.4Ghz band and then proceeding to enter the same name for the 5Ghz SSID, then the first name (the 2.4ghz one) automatically gets suffixed with: _2.4Ghz
Should I not be able to name both frequencies with the same SSID?

Are you in the U.K.?

As far as I know we only use the THG3000 router here and on that router the Wi-Fi's are combined by default.
