What should the Copper Phone Line Voltage be ?

I am trying to test my broadband and want to know what voltage I should ne getting from the outside line, can someone help ?

My broadband is working but drops out, I measure a fluctuating -40mv from the outside wiring.

Assuming you have the THG3000 router and not the Ultra hub you log into it by typing 192.168.1.1 into a browser URL.

The password you nede is on the bottom of the router

Change to Expert Mode.

Select the Status & Support tab, and then DSL status on the left hand side. You should then be able to copy the stats and post them here.  This is what you should see:

Even though the fault is intermittent (many broadband faults are) Vodafone should still investigate it. It may need them to monitor the line for a few days, but they can't just ignore it.
