FTTP Ping on Vodafone

Does anyone know why ping is so high with Vodafone on Openreach Networks.

Ping is 27 on Ethernet and WiFi it’s 37

it used to be 9 on Ethernet and WiFi it was 15

@Anonymous FTTC or FTTP? Do you know which VF access point your router is connect to? Could you post the output of a trace to bbc.com (remember to hide your router's public IP). Have you turned off IPv6?

It all depends on your gateway. Run a traceroute and copy/paste the results here - images take an age to be moderated 

 Guaranteed the gateway will be at the other end of the country from you.

I managed to fix the problem I factory reset the ultra hub that didn’t work so performed a factory reset on the 4G Mobile Broadband back up now back to normal ping again. 9 on Ethernet connection and WiFi it’s 17
