Slow Internet & keeps disconnecting continuously

Hi Everyone, we got our 1000 MBit internet router today. Connected it according to the guidelines inside the box. Now comes the problem. The internet speed is very slow as it often shows a speed between 60 - 100, sometimes between 200-300 and occasionally above 800 (as tested on speedtest.vodafone.de), and what worse is it keeps disconnecting continuously every half an hour or hour. Tried restarting,  resetting and connecting all the wires again a few times. The problems still remain. Any Ideas?

Why are you using speedtest.vodafone.de? Are you in Germany, this is a UK forum so we can't really help you.
