Buying a GOLD landline telephone number from Vodafone

Vodafone have a service called virtual landline.

It enables you to have a landline telephone number ring on your mobile.

Simple. Loads of businesses want this.

I contacted Vodafone through several channels and could not buy the number, which Voadafone have

Tried Tobi

Tried business sales live chat

Tried Virtual landline live chat (might have a different name)

Tried calling. Twice! Both times I explained my request, was put on hold for 10 minutes and cut off!

Now I'm trying both this forum and FB Messenger in the vein hope someone will take my money and sell me the number I want.

Does Vodafone want to sell me a landline or virtual landline telephone number for money?
I would like to give them some.

Tried Face Book and to say they are S_L_O_W would be an insult to sloths.

@cfone - I’m sorry to hear the experience you’re having while trying to take out a virtual landline through us. It sounds like you may have already done this although to talk about this further, the option would be to call 191 free from a Vodafone mobile or 0808 060 0802 from a different network or landline.

Have you looked into a sip service such as sipgate etc etc.

As long as you can port the number away from the seller then it's dead simple to have that landline on your mobile. I ported my business number to sipgate years ago and I can access the number with both a cisco voip phone at home and on my mobile. I'm sure you could get a better deal elsewhere too.
