Caller-ID on GigaFast

Hi there,

Am about to enter the world of GigaFast but while setting up an account, I got conflicting responses when I asked about Caller-ID. One guy said it would work fine (and it is listed as a free option in the call charges PDF) but when I went to set up the account, I was told it doesn't work on GigaFast and never will because it's VOIP based.

So who's telling me porky pies here? Can anyone out there with GigaFast confirm that their phoneline works with Caller-ID and any call-blocking devices (such as my BT8600 phones) will still work fine?

I’d say both are telling a version of the truth.

Caller I’d works except when the call a 
Gigafast to Gigafast call is placed, we get a seven digit number rather than a pstn number.
