Changing from Number Withheld

When I make a call from my landline the called party sees either 'Private Number' or 'Number withheld' on their display. I'd like to change this so my number is shown. How do I do this?

Is this happening to every number you call or is it just a certain number/numbers? Also, does the same thing happen when you call a mobile number from your landline?

Hi, I've been told by two different people they got 'Number  withheld' on their landlines and I've checked it to two mobile numbers and got 'Private Number' on both. I assume therefore my landline is configured for number withheld but can't see how to remove this.
