How to stop outgoing calls on landline

Hi everyone,

Is there a way I can block ALL outgoing calls from our landline because our 3 year old keeps dialling random numbers as well as the last number redialled!? If there isn't, then I'm going to have to simply unplug it from the wall.

Thanks!

Hi @LSO66

Unfortunately, this is not a service offered, please see this previous thread for confirmation.

Thanks for the reply. I thought as much, given my experience so far with this company 🙄

1] One way would be Vodafone Spend Manager, but doesn't work.

2] If your phone has KeyPad lock, use that :Smiling:

3] If there is no KeyPad lock get a VoIP home phone https://ligo.co.uk/telephones/voip-phones (with 2 headsets you can use it as Baby Monitor as well :Smiling: (I prefer Siemens Gigaset)
Set the outgoing line to be your VoIP number (UK geographical landline number - London 0203 etc.) you can get one for free from sipgate.co.uk and set the Landline to be dialled on request (hold the green button and scroll down to Landline account). The Sipgate account works as pay as you go and if do not top it up, it would not get you dial any numbers that are charged, but still can call FREEFONE numbers 080xx and 00800 :Winking_smiley: and other Sipgate numbers for free (and they can be anywhere in the world - connected to Internet) and now you are future proof.
