Mis routed calls

I migrated from plusnet adsl to Vodafone fibre on 14th November. Because I had two phones and Vodafone only provided one cable to connect phone to router I left one phone plugged in to the old socket. It was a good job I did because that phone rang! It transpires that calls from Vodafone come in on the fibre line but most others come in on the copper line.  I have spent hours on the phone to customer support with no end in sight.

Finally, after 8 weeks and a day, I have received a call from a landline on the fibre line. I wonder how long it will take Vodafone to notice they’ve solved the problem?
