Hi, I've recently transferred ISP from TalkTalk to Vodafone.
As part of the process, I requested to keep my VOIP landline number.
On the activation date, my broadband transferred without issue. I am able to make outgoing calls but have been unable to receive incoming calls for the past week. I've raised this issue with Vodafone a few times in the last week and today, it appeared they had resolved my issue. However, when someone attempts to call me from a BT landline, they get three bleeps and the line disconnects . Same from an EE mobile, three bleeps and disconnects. Calls from O2 and Vodafone (presumably) seem to be ok.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, has it been resolved?

Hi @Randomfifty4 If you speak to the Social Media team, they will try to resolve any issues you have and if they are unable to, you can request to escalate. All channels have an escalation process upon request.

I have a very similar problem. I migrated from plusnet adsl to Vodafone fibre on 14th November. Because I had two phones and Vodafone only provided one cable to connect phone to router I left one phone plugged in to the old socket. It was a good job I did because that phone rang! It transpires that calls from Vodafone come in on the fibre line but most others come in on the copper line. I have spent hours on the phone to customer support with no end in sight.

I feel your pain and empathise with your situation. ☹️

Are you still waiting for resolution? I hate to imagine how much time I have spent chasing Vodafone. I spoke to Plusnet, my previous supplier, on Friday and they confirmed the transfer was not showing as complete and they are chasing it as well.

Just as an update, my issue STILL remains unresolved. I am in discussions with a dedicated case worker from the Vodafone Directors Office (whatever that means....) but this issue is just farcical and I've reached the end of my tether. If it wasn't so serious, I'd find it almost laughable that a global telecommunications company seemingly cannot provide me with a service that allows me to telecommunicate with my elderly parents.
I've been with Vodafone now for 69 days and for 40 of those, I have been unable to receive calls from certain providers of both mobile and fixed landlines.
It's obviously not beyond Vodafone's capability to fix this issue, as it was working fine for 29 consecutive days but for some reason they're struggling to replicate that fix...... 🙄

Oh dear, this does not bode well for me.
Not only a major global telecommunications company but one that was, for a period, the most valuable company on the London stock exchange.

This issue is still unresolved. The most annoying thing is that I know this can be fixed. It therefore seems to me, that Vodafone aren't really bothered or too concerned about their customers problems.
For me, this is a huge problem. My elderly mum slipped and fell on the ice before Christmas. Fortunately she wasn't too far from home and some 'passers by' helped her to her feet and called for an ambulance, because she was badly cut, before carrying her home. Unfortunately they couldn't contact me from my mums landline, so I didn't know anything about it until some time later!!
This whole issue is totally unacceptable!! 😠

Hi @Randomfifty4 can you please confirm the current status? I have the same issue i.e. I can receive calls to my landline from all callers bar Sky callers e.g. when calling me from Now BB, Sky Mobile, Sky landline. I switched from Now BB in Dec 22. I have just received a call today from 2nd line support saying 'sorry failed port of your landline number from Now BB - your only option is to accept a new landline number'. 6 weeks since raising this issue and this is their response. Absolutely furious!

I don’t know about random50 but my identical problem went away 8 weeks and a day after I switched. I switched on 14 Nov and it suddenly started working on 10 Jan. Vodafone called me on 11 to discuss my complaint and didn’t know it was solved.

thanks for that feedback Ponyman. Which ISP did you transfer to Vodafone from?
