Excessive data usage

I just recently started a 30gb mobile Wi-Fi r218h started using it Friday evening

and on n off until tonite around 8/9 when I found out it had disconnected 

checked online I had used 59gb of data

i roughly worked out how long Id been on it and it worked out about 20-22 hours is it possible to use this much in this amount of time bare in mind I was only online gaming for this time

What device(s) did you have tethered @Curtisb92 

Online gaming can be intensive and use quite a bit of data.

Being online 20+ hours can easily use that much data dependant on what's using it.

Also the device(s) your tethered to will most probably be carrying out background processes such as updating itself / apps / updates etc.

It's just a ps4 

Iv read the game I play uses about 80-100mb an hour roughly
