Hi,
I have a 4G Mobile Hotspot with R228t device. For the last 3 days, SSID of the network (Wifi name) is not coming/seen at none of my mobile devices, laptop, iphone or smart tv.
Once i remove the simcard from R228t, put into my iphone, i can have data services, meaning that there is someting wrong with R228t device.
Anyone experienced, appreciated if you can guide with the solution?

Just a quick update that my IT team (Being a business Customer) have been in contact with the support group they have access to.
They have been instructed to return the non-functioning R228t device and a new one is to be issued. This means my journey to providing updates and being able to test alternative actions on the device has come to an end (unless there are issues with my replacement device... 🤞).
@GIZEMAG - hoping you can get to a suitable resolution with your device. Thank you for reassuring me that the issue isn't simply a one-off and hopefully the information we have collectively shared goes toward fixing the issue on any future instances of this happening.
I will however keep popping in to the forum to check whether a resolution has been found.

Thanks for providing the information @GIZEMAG & @AllanCur, from the information you've provided, it does sound like the issues you're experiencing are connected to the device rather than the SIM. To help with this, we may need to take a closer look at the hardware. As you've been advised, this would involve the device being taken into store and possibly going for repair. We can also raise this for you and a returns pack would be sent to you to return it to our repair centre. Please can anyone help after 5 hours of trying I’ve given up I bought my daughter a Vodafone portable internet R228t as she has no WiFi in her property I registered with Vodafone activated the SIM literally done everything it said I can see on her account she has the 15gb of data that cane with it but when she’s trying to connect her phone to it it’s not showing in the WiFi list all lights are blue on it saying she has internet, signal etc but it’s not showing in the WiFi list??? Can anyone help please

It seems like there might be an issue with your R228t device's broadcasting or connectivity settings. You could try restarting the device, checking for any firmware updates, or contacting the manufacturer's support for further assistance. Also, check out AC football Cases.
