Hello, I am having issues with two mobile numbers. They cannot receive incoming calls but they can call others. They can send and receive texts and 4g internet works fine. Both started experiencing the problem at the same time. It started 20th around 12:30. If someone calls them, it says invalid number and hangs up. I have tested the sims in other phones (Both iPhone and android) and the issue persists. I have tried changing to another network and back to Vodaphone but it doesn't correct the issue. I have also removed and entered the APN settings manually. Didn't work. Tried resetting the network settings. Didn't work. I have tried restarting the devices. Didn't work. The numbers are not being forwarded. The devices are not on airplane mode or have any other restrictions in place. I have taken the devices to other locations and the issue persists. Vodaphone is sending two new sim cards but considering they both stopped working at the same time, I do wonder if this will resolve the issue. Has anyone else had experience with this kind of issue?
1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?
No
2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the Community, add it to your profile here.
Tried in Birmingham, Bristol and Coventry. Issue is the same.
3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
Yes.
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?
Invalid number and that dial tone when the line is dead.
5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?
All
6) When did you first notice this issue?
Thursday 20th October 12:44
7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?
Permanent

Did you ever get this resolved? This happened to my wife's number and has persisted after leaving vodaphone (because of this issue) at around this time. I now can only call her on WhatsApp or equivalent.

We did. The issue was from Vodafone's side. I don't recall the exact details but they had to get an engineer involved. Something was wrong with how the phones were configured on the network. They had to change something on their side which took 48 hours. Since you have changed provider, I suspect you will need to call your new provider to investigate. Hope this helps.
