Incorrectly blocking our website

Hi,

We noticed that Vodafone is blocking our clients from visiting our site.

Our domain is: lds.xyz

We think that this is a false positive.

We did a check on our site's safety with google and it shows that it is safe

https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=lds.xyz&hl=en

Could you please let me know how can we proceed with this ?

Is it possible to unblock our site ?

Hey @Orest, thanks for reaching out to us.

I've raised this to our Network team now and once we have an update, we'll reply to this thread.

Hi,

Is there maybe an update ?

Hi @Orest

We've had no further update as of yet. Once we have any further information we'll be sure to respond to this thread.

Hey @Orest The site has now been reclassified. Please clear your cache and cookies and try accessing it again.

The domain is accessible (too accessible actually), however, there is no web (WWW host) server attached to it.  It's not blocked, there is no web page available! (queue Monty Python sketch!)

After a bit more investigation it looks like the IP address isn't propagating over all of the DNS system properly.

Yeah, actually there is no interface on that app that's why you see nothing when you try to access "lds.xyz"

But you could access it . We were told that it was blocked.

Could you please give more detail on your investigation ?

Just to double check, were you using vodafone ISP when you visited "lds.xyz" ?

In order to access the site I had to change DNS servers.  While it looks like the site is hosted by a Cloudflare affiliate, it was also some (not all) of Cloudflare's DNS that weren't seeing it.  Managed to test this with BT, Vodafone, and O2 mobile!

The quick means to test is to perform a distributed or Propagation DNS test (google it).  Those test show your site has 2 x IPv4 and 2 x IPv6 associated addresses (not addressable at all through Vodafone).  The tests also show a number DNS services around the world that have no IP addresses associated with the site at all - if the site is CoJCoLDS it could be due to local legislation.  If you attempt to access your sites just using the IPv6 addresses (probably not how you would normally log in) you'll see why I was concerned that they may be insecure - I'm not about to go poking around any deeper!
