No signal at home

I’ve recently moved at get no signal at all in my new village. The silly TOBI chat bot just tells me to use WiFi calling which is useless as the WiFi signal is so poor. I’m now paying for a service I can’t use.

in addition, I’ve noticed a real drop in service levels when I’m out and about travelling for work. Calls cut out constantly and I struggle to work on the train.

Any suggestions? I’m certain this is a network problem and not a handset issue. Am I better off moving networks?

Hi @turnip09 - I understand how important it is to have a the best possible connection and a stable one when working. Please take a look at our Network Status Checker. This will show the expected coverage for your new address. If it's showing a better coverage than what you're getting, then please message us on Social Media. We can then check the sites in your area.

When you're travelling, especially on a train, the coverage you get can change, due to switching between masts and moving at a high speed.

And what if it’s not showing decent signal where I live? Presumably this means you don’t provide a service and I need to leave Vodafone?

No network will guarantee 100% national indoor coverage, and WiFi-calling provides a solution in these cases. Was the coverage issue apparent when you first viewed your new home? That would have been a good chance to start investigating alternatives if so.

If you're having wider network issues with voice or data performance, then that's another issue.
