Our village in Dorset has very poor mobile reception. How do we go about getting a new mast?

Hi @amarkey I hope you are doing well!

I can certainly appreciate how poor signal can be frustrating. We are working hard to improve and expand the network across the UK and this includes adding and upgrading masts. This is not something that can be requested on an individual basis though.

Hi Steph, thanks for your response.

My question really is, how would the village (via the Parish Council) go about requesting a new mast, or other mobile options (e.g. I have seen on your website press releases various 'discrete' options such as 'bird-box' mini-masts, which might be a better fit for our community.)

How do we go about that process?

We have already drawn a blank with EE, but are unsure who is responsible for providing the infrastructure.

Regards, Anna

@amarkey - My team can take the details from you and then we'll email our Network Support Team. Please get in touch with us through Social Media and include a link to this post

Hi Vodafone,

I am enquiring about mast options for our rural village, as mobile phone reception is very poor.

I am doing this on behalf of our Parish Council, so it is not about my personal Vodafone account.

Let me know what further information you need from me at this time.

Please see see this message I already received about this topic:

Apologies for the conflicting information @amarkey, we can certainly pop the information over to our team responsible for our network improvements. They'll  then use this when looking into future upgrades to our network.
