Hello Everyone.
I have just swapped my phone from the Galaxy S20 Ultra, to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I did this last Monday.
I just noticed that the S22 I have doesn't allow me to use WiFi or 4G calling. The menu setting isn't even there.
Indeed when I went onto the Vodafone Tool that checks compatibility it says this:
4G and WiFi Calling are enabled on my account,
So I am just guessing is a new phone "provisioning" thing.
Otherwise, any ideas how to get it resolved?
Thanks
Solved! Go to best answer.

Bingo, we have contact!
The Twitter team said that the "Tech Team" have sent my phone some "Text Messages" and to restart it , so I did and 💥WiFi Calling is on.
So, for the Avoidance of Doubt:
- The Samsung Galaxy S22 - can do WiFi Calling regardless of Software, Source of Origin, or variant.
- The Phone isn't Incompatible.
- You Don't need to Reset the Phone to Factory.
- You Don't need to stand with one leg on a layline, with a divining rod, facing north.
- It just needs Vodafone to their job.
My guess is that the Database at Vodafone that carries IMEI numbers/Devices that are compatible with Generic Access Network, Wi-Fi Calling, VoWiFi or IP Multimedia Subsystem/Session Initiation Protocol (IMS/SIP) applications over IP networks just needs updating to indicate that the S22 Series is compatible with the service.
I have just put my phone on flight mode, and made a call and its working fine.
Thanks to the twitter team, though it shouldn't have to have come to that.

VoLTE should be on by default, but doesn't appear to be an option to enable it. If you can make calls and your phone stays on 4G then it's enabled. I assume Vodafone prefer to make people use 4G instead of making it optional.

That makes sense. They say they are switching 3g off soon. How can I check?

Just make a call. If it says 4G at the top of your phone whilst the call is active, you are using VoLTE.

I've just spent the last hour pulling my hair out whilst on chat with them. Getting the same response, even though my old unit came directly from Samsung and WiFi calling working as it should

Finally got someone who knew what they were talking about via twitter chat. Reset my account, asked me to restart my phone. And WiFi calling toggle is there, all working as it should. Its really annoying and embarrassing for Vodafone the level of knowledge there chat support have, or don't have!

Hi all! This issue has now been resolved, any customers who have purchased any S22 device after 3 March should have Wi-Fi Calling included in their settings. For existing customers affected, they should have automatically received a provisioning message to setup Wi-Fi calling.
Our website is also getting updated to show the S22 range has Wi-Fi calling capability. If you are still having issues please continue to get in touch with us on social media.

I swapped my regular SIM to an eSIM and now I have lost WiFi Calling again.
Seems that was a stupid thing to do.
Now got to go through the pain of trying to get it back.

I hope it works out for you. Point support back to this/your forum article straight away. Crazy they do not have this enabled by default still for these devices at the top level, a manual push seems to be all support can do.

Vodafone have at least added the S22 to the wifi calling page, but say it doesn't support sms over wifi when it does. Why is it so hard for them to get anything done properly?
The iPhone 13 is still missing from the list.

Really bordering on incompetence now.
It shouldn't be this hard, perhaps Vodafone should start selling Coffee and Donuts as at Mobile phone networks, they aren't doing too well.
I welcome their weekly:
"Hello. It looks like there's a problem with our mobile network in B******D. Sorry for any disruption to your service - we know how frustrating this can be. Rest assured, we're working hard to get things back up and running as quickly as we can, and we'll keep you in the loop on our progress. Thanks for your patience."
Cheers me up no end 🙄
