Hi,

My website https://ce-tech.info/

Is being blocked by vodafone, stating that it's an 18+ website (it's not 18+ at all!)

It works on wifi and O2 networks, but vodafone is giving an issue.

I have https enabled and SSL certificates (can be checked on

Please can this be fixed Screenshot 2022-08-16 at 09.46.26.png

OH - and btw - I HAVE taken legal advice and am looking at my options.

Almost yet another week. Is ANYTHING happening on this please ? I would like to know the reason for the ludicrous amount of time this is taking please ?

Many thanks

Zoe

Hi @zoeballz Thanks for your patience surrounding this, the last update I have is that this is being reviewed externally with a third party. I have sent an email to chase this up and we will update you here as soon as we hear back.

Then who EXACTLY is the 3rd party ? I will take THEM to court for libel instead.

The third party that this was escalated to was the British Board of Film Classification, which is the organisation responsible for classifying content (from films & TV to on-line media) in the UK. They have taken a thorough look into this and checked all of the content on the site and they have deemed that the site does not need an 18+ rating. Because we have the BBFC confirmation of this, we have once again reached out to Allot to have the reclassification changed. We are now waiting for their manual review to be completed. If they are still refusing to change the categorisation, our own IP services team will add it to a manual whitelist for you. We do however need to give Allot the chance to reclassify it as the current rating is also causing your site to be blocked on other providers. You can see exactly which ones here

I fully appreciate how frustrating and upsetting this whole situation has been @zoeballz but I can assure you we are doing everything we can to get this resolved for you.

Hi Steph,

Thanks gor the reply. May I have a copy of the BBFC report please ? I could use that to send to O2. Even MORE cheesed off with them as I have been a customer of theirs for over 20 years.

This is the problem with using 3rd party services for this. There are people on the net who have nothing better to do with their lives than spend all day going around making fake reports on any sites with LGBT+ content.

Many thanks,

Zoe

We don't have access to the report unfortunately and we wouldn't be able to get it. We are just relaying the information we are receiving from a 3rd party rating system. I believe it's the case that once the rating has been changed with this company it will be changed with all providers.

Hi Thomas_H,

Thanks for the reply. I believe that under the Data Protection Act, you are Legally Obliged to furnish me with the information I have requested. I am hereby asking for that information. If you do not have access to that personally, then could you kindly pass this on to someone who has.

Many thanks for your help,

Zoe

It's not data protection it would be under GDPR. We are fully compliant with GDPR and you can request all your account information, call history and interactions with us here

We don't have the information you are asking for and it's not something we can get, I'm sorry.

NO It is the Data Protection Act controlled by the ICO. Please see https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/uk-gdpr-guidance-and-resources/individual-rights/individual-rig...
