I'm on holidays in Thailand, roaming with a Irish vodafone sim. Up to a few days ago it worked perfectly but yesterday it stopped working.
Any time I try to make a call I hear a thai recorded message saying "you have dialled the wrong number" or something.
All my bills are up to date and I spent about an hour last night chatting with a vodafone rep , who assured me that he knew what the issue is and "it would be fixed in 3 minutes", and to "rest assured" etc. He told me to turn my phone off and on again and try to make a call. When that didn't work he asked me to turn off automatic network selection then turn it on again. When that didn't work I tried putting the SIM in another phone. Eventually he escalated the case and told me somebody would contact me.
Does anybody have issues roaming with vodafone specifically in Bangkok? All my bills are up to date, and I've been a vodafone customer for several years. I expect more.
