I'm so fed up of being passed from pilar to post. I've called over 10 times and everytime been let down by vodafone failing to action my request or giving me wrong advice.
I had a broadband account that I cancelled. Out of the blue I get a debt agency chasing me. I just wanted to clear my credit so I paid and asked them to tell vodafone it was a cancelled account. Months later after no contact from Vodafone or the agency I go to apply for my remortgage and its rejected. Due to missed payments. I contacted Vodafone and was told there was an outstanding debt. Turns out it was for a cancellation fee that they have never contacted me about and since cancelling my account after the credit agency told them so now even more poor credit stamps on my credit file. Now vodafone are saying the credit agency are responsible for clearing the credit score error and the credit agency say its vodafone who need to clear it. I'm not able to remortgage and all they do is make me play cat and mouse on long calls, wrong advice and just more stress!!!

I'd suggest to speak with the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries as they have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate this for you.
