Broadband sign-up voucher

Money supermarket got my attention with a £150 voucher inducement which led me to follow up with vodafone.  I have wasted lots of time on mobile, in shop and on desktop with the checkout blocking.   Vodafone help said they have had many queries from unhappy customers about this but that it was all moneysupermarket's fault (and did their best to get me to sign up anyway).  But Vodafone must be benefitting from the referrals and know about the scheme surely? How do you even get answers to something like this?

It'll depend on the contract that you signed up, and it's almost certainly MoneySpuermarket that carry the can.  Your problem is that your means to redress is almost certainly through the small claims court, and with the costs (yes you'll get the fees back if you win) it's still something of a gamble!

Agreed   I didn't actually sign up in the end : am waiting to hear from Vodafone and moneysupermarket. I just think this kind of thing happens too often and should be called out. So called reputable companies should know and do better.

If you haven't signed up, I can't understand what your complaint is.

What is it you expect Vodafone or Moneysupermarket to say or do?

I expect them to follow through on the offer.  The referral goes to Vodafone and then you get blocked at the Vodafone checkout.  Moneysupermarket have investigated and the problem is at the Vodafone site. They should either honour the offer or take it down. Not blame it on MS which is directing traffic to their website.

Ah, now I understand. When you sign up on the Vodafone site, it shouldn't matter if you got there via the referral link or not. At what point do you get "blocked", and what actually happens?

Edit: the current offer is £125, are you sure you're not trying to use an old referral link?

The forum software won't allow me to post the direct link, but here is the current offering:

I'm now wondering if it is just a non functioning check out issue.  Have looked on the forum and tried the change browser and remove cookies things.  Not worked and the will to live was lost long ago - I'll be dreaming about the screen sequence for ordering broadband I expect...maybe can get to live chat sometime or ring in office hours when help may be available...really infuriating, it feels as if vodafone doesn't want my business!

Anti Virus and the likes of Ad-Blockers can cause these issues as well.

I use host file to block a lot of places I have to delete that file or run into errors as you say (I restore it after it's the same with using cashback sites)

Are you saying you signed up via Money Supermarket, but didn't get the voucher?

I signed up via Money Saving Expert (owned by Money Supermarket) and had no problems getting my voucher. (although it was only £75 back then)

Any voucher/cash back scheme relies on web tracking technologies, and can never be guaranteed.
