Cancel broadband

I switched to another broadband provider & Vodafone keep sending me bills.

the new provider told me that my Vodafone contract would be cancelled when I switched but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

I emailed Vodafone to advise of the switch but they will not recognize this and they won’t cancel me over the phone unless I pay the bills for the period where I had already switched!

was you out of contract

Yes I was out of contract 

In or out of contract should make no difference. (except to whether you would get an EFT (Early Termination Fee))

Were you switching from FTTC to FFFP (or vice versa) (or Virgin)

Did you move your phone number and were the new ISP aware that you were switching from Vodafone?

If it was an FTTC to FTTC swap, it was up to the new ISP to liaise with Vodafone.
