Compensation process

I've received compensation money from Vodafone and it's been added to my account, will this money be taken off my bill each month or can I use it to buy something from their store etc.

The compensation will be given as a bill credit @Chopstik There is further information from Ofcom here: Ofcom .

According to Vodafone here: Automatic Compensation if you have the right to leave and are due compensation this will be added as a credit to your final bill with any credit repaid directly to the bank where the direct debit was taken.
