I have recently been working to save costs on monthly bills and, as part of this, chose to move both mine and my husbands mobile contracts to Vodaphone. Both of us are very happy and chose to also move our broadband however, for some reason, we failed the credit check for this. I have a perfect Experian (and ClearScore) rating yet I failed. Voda seem to want me to speak to Experian, but Experian say I have to speak to Voda - should I just stay with BT and not bother?
Can anyone help?

Welcome to Vodafone.
This won't be anything to do with you failing the credit check. Before being able to take out an additional service Vodafone have a 3 month clear payment rule, by which time there will be an indication as to how you manage your account.
Give it 3 months, I am quite sure after the third payment has cleared for the mobile contracts, you will be able to move your broadband over.
As you will already be a Vodafone customer with mobile contracts, there will be no further need for any additional credit checking.

Thanks for the response but that it utterly ridiculous. I didn't have to wait 3 months to order a second mobile contract so why do I need to wait till Xmas to order broadband. I might just as well sign up to BT again and get them to price match. I was hoping things would be better with Vodafone, but it appears not.

You are quite right @Wizzigog there isn't a good solution for people who make their first contribution to this forum by updating a four year old post with a comment that doesn't add any value.

Sorry about that. I expect you’ll find a bit of that from me. I haven’t used a forum before, and it’s probably a bad idea to have anything at all to do with vodaphone. I apologise for causing you any inconvenience.
