Network gurus pls help! Latest power line wifi 6 with fibre pro 2 networking

Dear hive

I'm using latest fibre pro 2 router with 2 boosters, and also a devolo whole of home kit. I also have another pro router spare. 

I want a meshed Wi-Fi round the house but even with the pro wifi6 router and boosters there are still black spots. Plus I need to get internet to the garage/summerhouse for teenagers and ring security cameras. 

my questions:

1. Can the devolo power line be part of the same mesh as the Vodafone wifi6 system? If so how?

2. Can I use the second pro router in any configuration to effectively act as another booster?

3. The ring doorbells struggle to maintain connection to the Wi-Fi 6 and seem to prefer the Ring Chime network. How do I reduce interference on the network and setup best?

Dear hive?  Hmm, are we worker bees or smart thermostats???

So that Devolo kit do you have, what is it, because they do Gh.n powerline adapters (less hampered swapping across circuits at the consumer unit) that are pretty impressive and they also mix and match them with WiFi6!

Vodafone's "Mesh" system is proprietary and can't be configured by home users (at this moment in time), and so you'll not be able to blend the two systems together seamlessly.  From what I've seen of the Devolo whole home Gh.n + WiFi6 adapters I'd have thought you could rely on these alone and not bother with the Vodafone WiFi at all.  There is no sensible way you can add your second Vodafone router to the network either.

As for the ring doorbells, there seems to be a compatibility issue between the Vodafone Pro II router and these devices.  One or the other of them seems not to be standards-compliant.  *Grey import Ring devices may not always work due to different channel ranges between router and device!

For now if you've not already done so I suggest putting a WiFi Analyzer app on your phone and seeing just how bad the signal is in various places - it may or may not be as bad as you think!

*Is it just me or have Vodafone changed the StyleSheet so it adds in a ton of whitespace!

I have a Devolo Magic 2 2400 wifi6 pack of 3. Was hoping I could move seamlessly between VF router, boosters, and devolo but sounds unlikely. Mebe just light up the black spots. 

Noted re ring doorbel,  and re wifi analyser - I agree should ensure at least I’m free of neighbouring channels. Anything else (other than house configuration, walls etc would effect signal?)

I would experiment with the Vodafone Pro II router and if that doesn't work then I'd experiment with Devolo Magic 2.

If you've the kit with a Lan adapter and then 2 LAN to WiFi adapters you could try mixing and matching either using the same SSID or with different SSIDs.  If you put the Devolo units where the signal is worst it should probably work.

I wouldn't expect seamless switching from node to node though, using Asus AiMesh we've just 2 clients (both mobile phones) that seamlessly and freely switch in the way the blurb always suggests, and our Netatmo thermostats have to be blocked from switching back and forth all the time.

*In a previous post when I mentioned the 5GHz 1W power output of the router here, it was suggested that tin hats would actually be a good idea - but it is good for a hundred-plus metres down the road!
