I've just joined Vodafone on Fibre 2 and wanted to know if anyone had replaced the THG3000 with an Ultra Hub and Booster and got it to work? I picked one up second hand but Vodafone say it's not possible to enable that as I'm not on the Pro package but I see no technical reason for it not to work. From what I can see it's not getting an IP address so I presumed a quick call to get the serial number added would be all I needed but that doesn't seem to be the case.

It's a closed - remotely configured system, so there is nothing to compel Vodafone to help you get it working. Secondly, if you read the T&Cs for new customers, whoever sold you the Ultra Hub would not have been it's owner - it's still owned by Vodafone!
