Some wired devices won't connect to Pro 2

Have a strange issue with the new Pro 2 router. I have some wired devices which only seem to partly work.

My Philips Hue bridge, and my Hue bridge; the Ethernet lights are illuminated, but the 'connection' light isn't. It's like they are blocked from communicating.

I'll continue to trouble shoot on Friday.

Strange, woke up this morning to two notifications about devices joining my network.

One was the Hive hub, one was the Hue hub!

Why did it take so long for them to work?

It's like ports were blocked, then they were opened.

.@Planck It is possible that the router rebooted or updated overnight. Also remember that VF can control it remotelty. There may be something in the logs.

Hi,

Just to add, in case it helps others, that I had what appears to be the same problem. Saw this post so rebooted the pro 2 router and connected to Hue straight away.

I have a hue hub too. When I added the pro 2 router I had to restart the hue hub a couple of times before it connected. All good now.

I’m having the exact same issue.

For me it’s a Philips Hue Bridge and an Apple TV.

The Apple TV doesn’t even recognise that the Ethernet cable is plugged in. It does work when connected to WiFi.

My PS5 and Hive Hub work when wired so it’s also not purely an Ethernet problem. And I’ve ruled out faulty cables.

Everything was working fine with the old router.

Called Vodafone, they say to call Apple and Philips support. Vodafone won’t admit it’s a problem with the router even with this thread.
