Hello, so pretty much I have downloaded steam on my brand new pc, and pretty much when I open up the steam app itself after the setup it comes up with a fatal error message. and also this is the same with my laptop so its nothing wrong with the pc itself.
But what I was thinking is that I need to open the ports on the bit of the site where you input your Ip address onto the web search bar, so I got to that bit but when I go to change the port it comes up with the message
'The selected port cannot be configured as it is reserved for internal usage. Please use a different port.'
I'm very new to this so I have no idea what that means and how to get around it, help?
