Two entries for one laptop in Vodafone app

I set up my new Dell laptop and then checked the Vodafone app. There are two entries: laptop and laptop-2. The first is designated as dell, the second as device. They have different Mac addresses. I did install McAfee VPN on the laptop, not sure if this makes any difference. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

I suspect it's because the laptop has 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, and sometimes connects on one and other times connects on the other.

Also in  Windows-10 (and presumably 11) in WiFi Advanced settings you can set random MAC address.
