struggling to connect via third party TP Link router

Hi all

Really appreciate any help here. Vodafone hub is being a bit rubbish with several devices connected to it , so trying out a new router/modem.

Modem/router is TP link Archer VR400. Have three green lights on wifi, power and DSL.
Have been copying and pasting the username and password provided by Vodafone, so shouldn’t be issues on “lower case l being a capital I” etc

Have username and password from Vodafone support. Plugged in the new devices, connecting wirelessly to their network. But, being told there is no internet connection. A lot of googling has given me a range of suggested solutions but not managed to get it to work.

Unsure about what ISP I should select (have seen suggestions for BT, PLUSnet, and 'other')
Also what VLAN number? (Or remove that option?)
And should I enable MER?
And anything else I am missing?!

If helpful, see screenshots at this google docs link https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pmTky-9MDfaFcO6dkZbu7-WLFDmseU3G/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=106654504...

Just seems more complicated than it needs to be. Not had to do this before, so entirely possible I am missing very obvious things.
Thank you for any help!

@mikeh1978 VF have probably given you the wrong PPoE credentials. It's not you confusing letters and numbers, it's them.

Try looking in this long thread, start and the end and work backwards. https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Other-broadband-queries/How-to-Set-up-a-third-party-router-with-voda...
