Hi,
I was on a big value bundle but as I don't get a signal at home I stopped it.
I've been put onto Plan 1 but I want a simple PAYG plan ie. I pay for when I use my phone.
I looked in my online account and can't find a way of changing the plan and customer services are working it seems!
Is anyone able to help?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Steve1739
The best thing to do is to direct you to this link: Vodafone PAYG Frequently Asked Questions . If you refer to What are the standard PAYG rates? You will see there is PAYG 1(the tariff you are currently on) or you have the option of purchasing a monthly bundle.
The cheapest option is a monthly BVB, at least then you have your unlimited calls, texts messaging and data allowance for just £10.00 per month when purchasing the £10.00 bundle.
edited to add: @Steve1739 Have you considered WiFi calling, it's available to PAYG customers and with a compatible phone, you would even be able to use SMS. Just the job for when there is no mobile phone signal here: WiFi calling
It would also be an idea to follow the link below and complete the pro forma template giving an example of your signal issues, the Social Team will then be able to look into the issue here: Network Issues

Hi,
Thanks for your reply
I've never had signal at home on any net work! I was using a Suresignal but that failed last week.
A BVB isn't good value for me as I make very few calls etc.
It just annoying that when I go out and get signal £1 is taken off my balance even if I don't us the phone.
Looks like is time to check out other networks for real PAYG tariffs.

I totally understand and appreciate when signal is poor in a fringe coverage area @Steve1739
This is why personally I have a Hybrid Dual Sim phone where I use two network sim cards in it so I can switch from one network to another when needed.
Like you I'm on Vodafone Payg too so not locked into a contract term so I can if I wish use different networks using the same phone.
Vodafone Calling Over Wi-Fi is a good feature as long as your phone holds the ability to use it.
Unfortunately not all phone's are eligible.
You can check which phone's are eligible on the official Web support page.
Also depending on strength of Home Broadband Wi-Fi quality of a call may not be the same quality as a normal network call.
If you do get stuck with changing Payg tariffs or discussing which is the best for you then customer services on 191 or Live Chat can help you with this as well as a Vodafone Highstreet Store if your passing one.
Take some identification.
If you fill out the Template held in the link kindly supplied by @AnnS they can access the masts in your immediate area and surrounding area to see if they are working as they should. They can also pass this onto the Networking Teams.
I appreciate if connection is poor you would be hard pressed to pay a monthly payment to top up to pay for your Big Value Bundle Allowances especially if your finding it difficult to make full use of them.
I wish you all the best with this.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
In addition to what I wrote to Ann:
My phone doesn't support wi-fi calling. My wife's iPhone does but very badly!
