Phone model not recognised

I've a new SIM card which I'm trying to set up but my phone is not being recognised.
I have a Moto G8 Plus but the only choices are the G8 Power and G8 Power Lite.
I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to mobile phones and have no idea what to do.
Thanks

Vodafone should have sent a file for internet settings when you inserted the SIM @FreddieJones if this was not sent just follow any other Motorola phone, they are similar with the same set up process and internet settings.  There is a video with Android settings here: How do I set up my phone for internet access and picture messaging (MMS) Try texting WEB to 40127, Vodafone should the  send the data settings by text.

There is also further information here: Welcome to Vodafone .

If you have topped up Vodafone will automatically take your credit towards a 4 30 day Big Value Bundle.  If you no longer want the bundle you can opt out here: Remove Big Value Bundle

Hi @FreddieJones

You can also manually input the Apn settings into your phone making sure you input the ones for Payg.

https://apn-settings.com/uk/vodafone-uk-apn-settings/

A Big Value bundle is paid for every 30 days.

If you do get stuck then I'm sure a Vodafone Highstreet Store employee should be able to help you.

I wish you all the best.  :Smiling:
