Bill message belonging to somebody else

Every month I get a text message from Vodafone to my mobile tablet number with details of a bill that is not mine. I received one yesterday which starts "Hello. Your bill for this month comes to GBP 22.25 and is due on 27/03/2022. There are no details in the text about who this bill is for. How do I stop receiving these as I am worried about being linked to an account that I have no control over. I am on a fixed pay monthly contract. I have already messaged  “TOBi” and they referred the issue to the fraud team but obviously that has not worked as this is the third message I have received.

If you have logged into your online account and you only have the one number for your tablet and receive a monthly notification to let you know your tablet bill is ready to be viewed online, you shouldn't be receiving a additional message.

 

This is going to need account access, drop the Social Team a message through Twitter ore Facebook channels here: Contact Us.

Thank you for your reply. I have contacted the complaints team (again) and have been told that the issue should not have gone to the fraud department but to the corporate security department who investigate data breaches. Hopefully this will get sorted but can take up to 14 days.
