Billing arrears...

I logged into My Vodafone account tonight and was surprised to see this message...

I was immediately taken aback and checked the last bill. On the bill it says "Your payment will be taken by direct debit on or just after 14 August 2021" however the website says "This bill was due on 13 August"

I then logged into my bank and can see the direct debit was taken as normal this morning.

So, what's going on with the billing system? The messaging is alarming and I now will be keeping my eye on my credit file to ensure Vodafone are not going to add a late payment marker to my file. 

If anyone from Vodafone read this, it'd be good if you could put this on someone's radar. This isn't a great customer experience.

I can certainly see why this would be unsettling !

It looks like that for some reason Vodafone Systems have automatically kicked in sending the automatic type account message.

I haven't seen posts similar saying they also got this type of update so I'm hoping it's a glitch.

And Yes it would be beneficial just to keep an eye on your Credit File as you've indicated.

I'm sure the Vodafone Social Media Team's will send the appropriate feedback to the relevant departments.

So no, no recent changes at all on my plan. I'm on a sim only.

Happy to share account details via private message if you want to pop it on the radar of the relevant team. Flagging as I'd rather you be aware and deal with it now in case this glitch starts affecting others.
