BE CAREFUL TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT WHEN IS FINISHED OR CHANGED IT WHEN YOU ARE BUYING A PHONE, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU EVEN IF THE CONTRACT IS FINISHED FOR THE PHONE. TTHAT WHY THEY PUT THEM BOTH ON SAME CONTRACT NOT SPLITED.

There is no need to type in capitals @Tiberiu79 , it is seen as shouting and it is totally unnecessary, nobody here on the forum is responsible.
As far as your issue is concerned, with an Evo contract, if you pay off the device part of the contract, you will be released from the airtime contract but the airtime contract will continue on a 30 day basis until you decide to cancel or take out a new device plan with a new airtime contract. If the airtime contract just ended, it would result in the lost of a number, and Vodafone would be flooded with complaints.
Please see the see the Evo FAQ's here, Evo they should answer some questions, but if you still need clarification for account access drop the Social Team a message through social channels and they will help here: Contact Us

It's the same with all networks, @Tiberiu79 including your home broadband, Sky TV, your gas and electricity supply etc contracts are a minimum term and don't just end, they continue until you do something about it. Networks are obliged to notify customers when a contract is coming to an end and you should have received a text notification detailing all your options.
The quickest way to cancel is to PAC out by text or, if you no longer want the number is to submit a STAC code. The information is here: Cancel Account

Please understand that in contrat was bought also a phone, the scam is they do not tell you to stop or remind you that you will pay also the price of the phone monthly after tou finish your contract only if you stop it manually. The scam is milion of brits are not checking daily thair contract or debits and vodafone figure put this from the amount of people who forgot to stop teir contract. At least they should tell them when they are making a new offer the you have to stop you phone debit? If its not clear stop working for them and work for people. That my last replay.

You mean your device plan @Tiberiu79 , this is a Consumer Credit Agreement to cover the cost of providing the phone and itemised separately from the airtime contract. The monthly amount, time remaining and amount still owing is itemised on the online account and Application, when the device has been fully paid, Vodafone can't take anything extra.
Apart from the standard notifications sent by Vodafone, it is always the customers responsibility to check the time remaining on the contract and Vodafone provide all the online tools to help the customer and enable this to be done.

OFCOM have forced networks to send an end of contract notification, so they do tell you your contract is ending and then it's up to the customer to continue or not.
I don't agree with the way networks get away with it, but as long as they have followed the law and informed you, then there's nothing to complain about. All networks do this, it's not just Vodafone.
