Call waiting won't turn off / disable

Hi team

I am unable to permanently disable call waiting. Every time I try, I find it has reactivated the following day.

A few quick points:

• By call waiting, I mean the phone alerts me to an incoming call, when I'm already in a call
• What I want to happen - when I'm on a call, any incoming calls go to my voicemail
• I have tried disabling using both #43# and using Phone app settings (Phone app > Settings > Additional Settings > Call waiting). Both get re-enabled by the following day
• In the Phone app settings, I have call forwarding to my voicemail (121) enabled when Busy, When Unanswered, When Unreachable. It is obviously not working when busy.

I've spoken to Vodafone numerous times on the issue - they were unable to help.

I believe it is a Vodafone issue, as it has been reported several times before with no fix:

Please can somebody help? Is there some setting on my account causing this?

My phone Is a OnePlus 5 running Android 10.

It seems like you have carried out most of the self help generic troubleshooting tips @stooch 

Bit of a long shot but what happens if you insert your sim card into another phone if you can ?

If cancelling all diverts via  How-do-I-manage-call-diverts …   (  Call ##002# to cancel all active call diverts.  ) does not help then see if the Vodafone Social Media Team's on Twitter or Facebook can help. They can't here as account access isn't available via this forum.
