Can I receive incoming SMS if no plan is active on Postpaid?

I am given a free Hero Unlimited Vi prepaid Sim as a promotion by a Vi employee and am considering abandon my original postpaid sim and use the prepaid instead but since I have given the postpaid number for several other services and avenues I want to make sure that I can receive SMS even if I stop using the postpaid sim ((For OTP needs https://vidmate.onl/)

Providing you are using the same number as you were using on prepaid @annie31 , you won't have any problem receiving OTP messages.

 

As this Community is only UK help and support and you are not a Vodafone UK customer, you will need to speak to Vodafone India for any account related questions.
