How do I see which plans are accepted for vodafone advantage rewards

Hello. I have a code to use for my vodafone advantage. I enter this in the promotion area but keep getting the message that the code cannot be used for discounted plans. I have tried several sim only plans. The plans are not discounted. So why is the code not working?

@Effie - Hi. So you are aware I am still having issues in getting the disc contract for the number ending 476 and 174. I have asked a few times for someone from management to call me - but so far that request is being ignored.

It's disappointing to hear your ongoing concerns regarding your Vodafone Advantage discount. We understand how concerning this must be. As we don't have access to your account via the Community, we wouldn't be able to comment on the status of your two numbers. 

Vodafone Advantage is only available with the following Pay Monthly plans:

  • 24 month handset, iPad and tablet plans;
  • 12, and 24 month SIM only plans; and
  • 12 and 24 month Xtra plans.

You must purchase the plans online from Vodafone directly. Plans purchased through third parties such as Carphone Warehouse and Quidco or through retail or phone channels will not qualify for the discount.

The Offers don't apply to:

  • Pay as you go plans
  • 30-day SIM only plans
  • Basics plans
  • VOXI plans
  • Dongle or Mobile Wi-Fi plans
  • Broadband and Home Phone packages
  • Items purchased in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount
  • Customers upgrading early using our annual upgrade promise
  • Any Vodafone customer who has a business account.

Hi, did you manage to get discount in the end? 
I have the same issues that is not accepting the code, I tried it on every sim plan available and its not working. 
They told me they can't give me Employee Advantage Scheme discount any other way.

@zorica - hi. Yes I did but it was convoluted way of doing this. I would send a message to @Effie who should be able to help you.

At least it worked for you, seems that many of us using Employee Advantage Scheme having as same issue.
Before it used to be straightforward now is just a nightmare!

From the Vodafone website you might not be seeing a discount. However, if you are looking through the offers online while you are logged in that means you are automatically receiving a certain 5% 10% 15% discount that you might not necessarily be seeing visually, but it is just recorded onto the system. The only ones who can see these deals and discounts are the advisors who can see the contract details from the system itself. And hence you may need to call the contact center or use the web chat in such a way that you need to consult with them first. This is to raise the order first and then to see whether you will be able to use the Vodafone advantage code because you can use the Vodafone advantage discount code literally on any plan as long as it is not discounted. It could be already provided to you with a discounted version but this is not something that you control and you will need to call the contact center  to see whether it’s OK to proceed with the order and get from them as solid confirmation in such a way that they will leave a note on your account with it; and you can call them after the completion of the order to place the code manually through the help of any resolution manager that is there available. And that may take three working days to be placed successfully.

@Mena19187 Thank you for the information. Based on how you mention an order needs to be placed - do you think customers would stay with Vodafone. The process is very confusing and convoluted. You mention that the plans may have discounts that you do not see and the only ones that can see this are the advisors. This shows that the system is not transparent at all. I would ask you to raise this issue to the resolution managers through to Ahmed Essam and also Margherita Della Valle. The system needs to be simple, and easy to use for customers. This issue I raised shows you the problems in your order process.

That was not my experience at all. I contacted them via web chat and phone, and they told me that they can't apply the discount on their end anymore due to system limitations. They also mentioned that if my Employee Advantage code is not working at the point of my online order, there's nothing they can do. (I literally tried it on every single sim plan and its not working). They provided me with an email address to file a formal complaint, and that's pretty much the end of it.
