I had a 24 month contract which has expired - I now wish to downgrade my data and pay less - how do I do this?

Either log into your online account or call 191.

Hi @HairyFrog

At the end of your contract your in an ideal negotiating position.

So you could call customer services and choose the Thinking of Leaving option to speak with the Retentions Team who'll be able to negotiate a new tariff and handset deal with a new monthly tariff cost with you.

Or you could ask to be moved to Sim Only which typically can lower your monthly cost with new allowances.

Or you can ask to be moved to PAYG.

I wish you all the best with this.

Hi @HairyFrog

Vodafone should have sent some information to let you know you were close to the contract end data with your options.

You mention a data plan. If you mean you are on a mobile broadband contract, you would find it cheaper to close the account and take advantage the 6 month half price offer as a new customer here: Mobile Broadband Also further information here: Mobile Broadband Upgrades

If this is a phone contract, further information here: Upgrades

It would also be worth looking at third party deals, you can save money this way.
