Mobiles.co.uk issues

Just took out additional line instead of upgrade with mobiles.co.uk due to good deal. 32/pm with new 5G phone and some cashback to claim. Not unfamiliar with the process my last contract was run like this. Just planned to port out the old contract number onto a prepay SIM and then port back in... cos I mean thats what you do?

My shock when I look on My Vodafone app to find the new contract is actually priced at 38/pm. Contacted Vodafone about this and they said contact 3rd party seller we only get involved if you have exhausted options with the 3rd party reseller.  I've been in touch with them they state its 32/pm.  Vodafone saying there maybe some discount applied that doesn't show on the app?  Nearly 3 hours on hold today between the 2 companies.

Advice?

Just to update and close thread. So it actually was Vodafones fault. I spoke to someone a bit more clued up today and he went quickly looking around everywhere in the account and found notes that a £6 discount should be applied as part of the contract but it was never done by the back office team. Added now 32/pm with 10/pm cashback to be claimed back from mobiles. Not bad deal for unlimited everything, no speed restrictions and a brand new xiaomi note 11 Pro 5G phone!! Very happy with that now its all sorted. Thanks

Hi it's a very weird situation. Never ever something like this has happened to me. So basically am just asking any one for advice. I learnt my lesson. Open parcel up in front of courier. So you have proof. I know it will be a fight. It's been so much hassle. Constantly emailing them and phoning them. Drove me crazy. Especially when am innocent. All I want is my phone that I paid for. and know one its taking responsibility.

This won't be DPD's fault @Sabmak all they did was deliver a sealed parcel, if it had been opened there would have been evidence of this on delivery.  It's a shame you didn't take photographic evidence when you first opened the parcel.

This is between you and mobiles, it won't be a Vodafone issue, the only thing you can do is to persevere with mobiles here: Register a Complaint - Mobile.co.uk I notice you have raised this on some feedback and mobiles have been in contact to get this solved directly with you.

Hi yes but they refusing to do a proper investigation. I am really shocked at their customer service. I sent the same  parcel back to the company in order to help them investigate. I did take pictures and I been on the phone and emailing from day 1. They go their ware house has cctv of them putting S22 and dod have picture of them delivering to my house. So what happened in between? Something definetly did. The phone was swapped. I literally am so angry. All I want is someone to tell me what to do. How to fight this. Because can you imagine paying for a phone for 2 years that you havent recieved.

Do they have a cooling off period @mdc1983uk which you could use as a last resort.
