If you would like to transfer ownership see here Transfer agreement  .

You wouldn't be able to transfer the contract to an overseas network,  your agreement is with Vodafone UK with a UK number.

I’m moving to Spain and there is a Vodafone presence over there. It’s actually my broadband I wish to transfer not my mobile phone unless your previous comment covers this as well?

The  problem here is Vodafone Spain is a completely separate company and network  the only thing in common is the  name Vodafone.

Your broadband is with Vodafone UK, and as you will be unable to use a UK broadband connection overseas the agreement will need to be cancelled prior to moving or there is always the change of ownership route.
