Nhs discount code not working

Hi.

 

 

I upgraded to a sim only deal yesterday but the discount codes has expired 1 minute after getting them.

 

I tried 3 times and in the end proceeded to complete the upgrade but tried now to see if I could apply the discount but seem unable to do it.

 

 

Can I speak to someone about this please?

Vodafone have changed the way the Advantage discount is applied @white_wolf 

 

If you refer to the reply from @Amanda on this thread https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Pay-monthly/Trying-to-add-friend-to-advantage-scheme/m-p/2706112#M67... it will explain the process.

 

edited to add:  if you click on 'yes I'm ready' here: NHS Advantage it will open the form you need to complete

That is the way I tried it and 3 times with codes, it never worked. It said they had expired within 1 minute of getting the codes. 

 

Not sure why the process cant be made simple and to work first time than all messing around to apply discount. 

 

Where do we go from here?

I agree that the customer journey shoukd be as simple as possible @white_wolf 

I would suggest to have a word with customer support on 191 or Live Chat.  

The Vodafone Social Media Team's may also be able to help > Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.

Live chat just sends a link to the website discount page … and that link doesn’t even work!!!!!

If you have followed the correct procedure, follow @Amanda's advise in the linked thread for account access and contact the Social Team with a link to this thread.  You will have much more success than going through Customer Service channels.

 

edited to add:  I notice you applied the code against a SIM only contract, some SIM only contract come with an promotional extra.  For example, 6 months half price.  The code has to be applied against a plan that does not come with a promotional extra.

The problem is I dont use Twitter. 

 

I dont see why all formats of communication cant be equal to sort problems. 

 

A little ironic for a communication company. 

 

If you can see some information and what I've tried to do, why cant you help to sort this?
