No incoming calls after number transfer

Hi any advice for no incoming calls or texts after my number was ported in from EE yesterday? Callers get the message "Sorry your number is not recognised" 

 

The porting team were less than helpful when phoned and advised me to take the sim out and turn the phone on and off - which has already been done.

 

Its not a great start to my Vodafone service.

Hi @RobCooper 

 

With porting happening in stages, it may be that the incoming part of porting was not completed yesterday and the service will be fully online today.  Try going into your network settings and doing a manual roam, select any other network wait for it to reject the request and reselect Vodafone, this will update the SIM on the network.

Yep its not a great start to my new contract with Vodafone - one call to the number porting team and the line was so poor with echo I could hardly hear but apparently my account is fine! I just need to switch my phone off for 2 mins and reseat the sim.

 

2 days in and already regretting moving from EE 😞
