No incoming calls or texts after porting number

Hi,
It has been 1 week since I ported my number to Vodafone. However, I have been told it has not been ported fully as a result of a split port. I cannot receive calls and cannot send or receive texts. I've called Vodafone customer services endlessly over the past week and spoken to the porting team as well who have told me nothing but lies. They said they have sorted it out on 3 separate occasions and told me to wait 24 hours, yet it is still the same.

On my last call I was told they have escalated my query and have asked my previous network to send over the remaining files that were supposed to come along with the porting process. However, I have spoken to 3 and they say they have nothing else to send.

It is unbelievable that in my first week of contract with Vodafone I am unable to use the service because I cannot receive calls or texts. No one is offering solutions and I now keep getting fobbed off when I call Vodafone customer service. 1 week of no service is terrible. Please someone help!

Ronnie, I know it's long winded but please read my post and provide me any kind of guidance. I've been told I'm a worst case scenario by the manager of the Oldham store and has said on my account they can see that hundreds of advisors have answered my calls yet never left any notes.

Cheers mate. Appreciate it. I went through what you did but for a duration of two months, back in December 2014! My line suddenly disconnected four months ago and I'm going through this again. You can imagine what I'm going through. Can't even stop the direct debit as it'll leave me with bad credit and I'm applying for a mortgage soon.

I've contacted them and told them Vodafone refused to giv eme a deadlock letter so had to wait 8 weeks. They'v got a huge backlog so I have to just keep waiting I guess. I have also contacted offcom who have stated I have strong grounds to take it to court

Yes I hope something is done everytime Vodafone post something on Facebook they get about 300 comments all with complains might help if you are taking them to court just print them off

I got my service back on Tuesday after 12 days. I only realised it was working when I got a spammy call though! I had contacted Three and they emailed me back also on tuesday to say my number had now been fully released. So maybe it was Three at fault but still not happy with how vodaphone handled the situation.
