Hi,

 

I went through the upgrade process 4 days ago and just received a message today to say the phone is still not in stock. On your website for that specific phone (S21 Ultra) there's a message that says "Order before 10:00pm today and get it tomorrow."

 

I don't mind the wait, although it's a bit frustrating not getting any information. But seeing you advertise it as available for delivery tomorrow is just dishonest. It's not difficult to change that note to explain that there's a delay.

I'd it the exact same model @b0bbins i.e colour and capacity etc ?

If so it won't harm to call customer services on 191 to explain what you've seen and ask them to if they can look at your live order.

Same thing I ordered an S21 Ultra 5G 256gb in black, 4-6 days, service agent says, low stocks not out of stock, low stock, has to be delivered to y home address, can't be delivered to store. I even received a text confirming it will be in 4-6 days. They also said to me next day if I wanted the 125gb version.

Sorry this is not helping your cause but add me to the list of being lied to.

Sorry to hear you're having the same issues. I received another email today saying it was still out of stock. The website still says "Usually with you between 4-6 days" which is clearly a lie. As a result I've cancelled my order and in 10 days time when my contract ends I'm going to move to O2.

 

I've been with Vodafone for over 20 years and have spent thousands of pounds on multiple devices but there really is no reward for being a loyal customer and complaints fall on deaf ears. The only concern for them is the money so I'm taking mine elsewhere.

 

I'm not spitting the dummy out, I just detest companies lying to customers to encourage sales. Honesty is king in these situations.

am hoping I don’t have this issue because I ordered mine on a 1-2 week wait and since it’s changed so we will see if I have it next week like I should or if I have been lied to.
