I recently took over my account which was paid by me through family previously,
In the transfer of ownership email it states the "inclusive UK data" as 20GB data + Promo: 100GB extra data.
What is all this about? I know I pay for 20GB, but I dont know about any 100GB promotions,

The first place to look will be your online account or application both will give details of your data allowance.
It certainly looks like you have a promotional plan with an extra 100 GB of data in addition to the core allowance of 20 GB.

So I updated the app, under "My extra allowances"
it says "Promo: 100GB extra data: You have 100GB of data additional to your plan to use each month"
This has never been a thing previously that I knew of, is it permanent?
Is there currently some kind of extra offer on?
If it is permanent why isnt it just listed on my plan as 120GB flat?
I'd think promo meant promotional and therefore limited time, if it is limited where can I find when it ends?

Hi there,
I'm on exactly the same package.
When I chose it, the 20GB package had a promo of an extra 100GB meaning I pay for 20GB but get 120GB per month.
It looks like they've perhaps moved you from the 'non promo' version of the package to the promo offer when they've moved the account into your name.
You'll keep getting the extra 100GB per month until you next upgrade or cancel your package.
